Which Areas?

Internships in Argentina 1We can generally arrange internships in almost every area you are looking for. Thanks to many years of experience and our very individual search we are able to say that up to now, we have satisfied our clients’ specific requests in 95 percent of the cases!

How long?

To be able to incorporate well into your work environment, longer periods are advisable. We suggest a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks. Experience has shown that many companies (especially in Buenos Aires prefer a work experience to last even longer than that. Even though we suggest a minimum length of 6 to 8 weeks, shorter periods can be organized in certain cases.
Just ask us, and we’ll see what we can do!

Which Cities?

Be it the multi-faceted and energetic capital Buenos Aires, the laid-back university town of Córdoba, the fine wines in Mendoza or the proximity to the indigenous culture in Salta. Whatever suits you best, in any of these four cities we can find you an internship according to your personal requests.

No Spanish yet?Internships in Argentina 2
Even without any previous language skills you can apply for any work experience and learn the language on site in an intensive language course before starting your job. Our language courses – thanks to very small groups and excellent teachers – will soon get you ready for your work experience. Some students arrive without speaking a word of Spanish and leave Argentina speaking it fluently!

What kinds of companies and institutions?

Since Argentina has been an important economic and industrial base for Europe and the United States, many important international companies have branches there and if you want to, we can try to find an internship in one of those big companies.
However, since these internship places are rare, we hope you are open to working in smaller Argentine firms as well. Experience has shown that integration into working life and projects is a lot better in small firms than in multinational companies. Your working field can be chosen a lot more personally. In case of a socially oriented work experience there are many local and national organizations that will be happy to introduce you to their work and let you take part in it!

How long does it take?Internships in Argentina 3
Organizing an internship or volunteer work usually takes 6-8 weeks. In urgent cases it can be faster, in case of very specific requests it might take longer.
Please note that January is the national month of vacation and many institutions and companies remain closed. For this reason, our search activities also slow down significantly or even have to stop during this month.

When to start?

You can start your internship basically at any time of the year. However, it is not advisable to start work in January, since this is the national month for vacation and many institutions and companies (except for the areas logistics, tourism and some research institutes) close down or work notably less. Your first work day will usually be a Monday.

If we don’t find what you’re looking for...

Thanks to years of experience and an average of 95% of successful searches, we can proudly say that this situation occurs really seldom. Obviously, in the rare case of an unsuccessful search, your initiation fee will be refunded!

Will I get paid?
Internships in Argentina 4Usually, work experiences in Argentina are not remunerated. If you worry about your financial situation, however, check out the scholarship programs!

If you’re short of money…
To make this experience affordable for everyone, we have always tried to keep our prices as low as possible – obviously without lowering quality or standard!
Additionally - once in Argentina - you will soon notice that the currency exchange is very convenient and that you will be spending less for day-to-day life than in your country!

Vacation:
Argentine work places for trainees generally do not include vacations. However, if you plan a break during your internship in order to have some time to travel, just include this request in your application; in certain cases, we will be able to make this kind of arrangement.
Most of the interns travel at the end of their work experience. If the period of your internship includes January, the national month for vacation, many companies and institutions will suspend work in this time. Just like most of the Argentines, you might as well use this month to do some travelling in between!
